Let me get this out of the way: this outfit was far from being my first choice for the first day of Eid this year.
In fact, it wasn't even in the top 3 list.
But less than a week before Eid, my sisters excitedly concocted a plan to wear the same black maxi dress, with our Mak, on the first day of Eid. Two things: (1) They announced this without asking for my input (which I did give afterwards by going "Nooo I already have an outfit planned!", only I was clearly outvoted), and (2) The idea of the four of us owning the same black dress was yours truly's very own idea, because I was excited for us all to own the same dress.
Just for fun, just for the heck of it.
Only...did I predict I would be forced to wear it on Eid day? No, mams and sirs. Nope.
But since I'm such a good sister and a good daughter (and not wanting to be a party-pooper), I decided to get on board anyway! The original outfit I planned for was a black baju-kurung-style set so I just wore the same planned pink scarf, my Disney x Danielle Nicole Mulan bag and red mules.
Thank you for reading this, I know the month of Syawal has already passed so this post is a lil late but better late than never, no? Hope you're having a great day so far wherever you are ❤
PS: In case my mom and sisters decide to take a peek at this blog post: love you guys hehhehheh
