Our family decided on a green theme for my brother's wedding at the beach, hence, the whole lot of green love you're seeing in this post — and in more to come, as I'm hoping to share some of my family's outfits here too.
I bought this matching green printed batwing top and tied pareo skirt months before when I went back to my hometown. That was all I brought back with me to Johor, as I took it for granted that I would be able to head back there before the wedding to choose what shoes and bag to wear.
But then, with the second nationwide lockdown happening and my brother's solemnization ceremony moved up, I had to rely on my mom and sister's help to bring over my things. I'm so very grateful for their help as, without it, you might be seeing this green outfit with my Adidas sneakers and backpack — which would look cute too, but, well, probably just not very wedding-y!
What a gorgeous outfit! You look really beautiful in green babe. Love it :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteEeek I'm SO glad you think so because I actually think the matching pieces are a bit of a controversial choice.
DeleteThank you Shanaz, and yes I'll be thinking about green more now!
