Fun fact (but totally useless for most people): daisy is one of my favourite flowers, ever. I wore peachy-pink hued gerbera daisies in my hair in both my engagement and wedding events, and I carried a colourful bouquet of them at my wedding.
So imagine the burst of happiness that bloomed inside of me when I spotted this daisy printed maxi dress! Three words: Meant + To + Be. I bought it months ago but me, being the sappy person that I am, knew only a special day should warrant this dress so I waited until my birthday last week (!) to wear it out for the first time.
PS: I turned 34 years old on the 13th, happy belated birthday, me!
PPS: In case anyone's wondering, my birthday celebrations always consist of me eating whatever yummy eatables I dang choose that day, which included nasi daun pisang or, in English, banana leaf rice (mm mm mm mm mmm), this year. The day was also filled with loads of shopping — for grocery and furniture, that is, the latter for Shah's and my new house. Birthday or not, adulting and stuff are still to be executed, amirite?

Banana leaf rice is oh so yum! Girl, you're looking super glowing. I love this daisy dress' cut, so flowy and breezy. And that blazer is urghh just chic. ReplyDeleteBanana leaf is such a staple in our country's cuisine, wouldn't you say? There's a banana leaf restaurant that's super close to my current home so I'm going to miss having it so close by when I move!
