It was 7:15pm, already dusk. Daylight was almost done leaving and it was raining. I turned to Shah and said, "Well, serves me right for not wanting to take outfit photos earlier in the afternoon."

My older sister asked Shah and me to join her on an impromptu one-night trip to Genting Highlands with her kids, which we were totally game for. I booked our hotel room online three hours before leaving to meet my sisters, my mom, nephew and niece at the hotel, and that night we played Finding Dory Monopoly; Shah and I spectacularly lost each round to our 7-year-old nephew and 4-year-old niece, which was hilarious.
We spent the whole of next day at the top of Genting Highlands, going into Snow World (so fun even with the gross grey slushie they call "snow", but terribly bloody cold) and stuffing ourselves at Burger & Lobster.

If you don't know this, I have a thing for matching pieces, like this patterned set and this bold striped one so I was happy to find this pinstriped Adidas sweater because it matches the navy pinstripe pants I got in Shanghai just nicely — the perfect lazy comfy outfit for my fun day out!
Wearing: Adidas baseball pinstripes top | Hotwind pants | Adidas Superstar | Shanghai Disneyland Mickey backpack
Hey girl! That combo of two sizes of vertical stripes is really cool!! I'm not sure I've seen that done before this. Adding your Adidas sneakers and that periwinkle(?) hijab gives this styling a real sporty vibe. FUN!
ReplyDeleteSuper flattered that you think I just did a cool combo that has yet to been seen =D would you wear it yourself, I wonder? I love discovering almost-accidental combinations like this one! The hijab is actually more grey than pictured, so hard to edit when photos are taken in bad lighting! But the "heroes" of this look are the top and pants so at least they were photographed pretty well. Thank you for another comment, Judy! XO
DeleteYup! I'd wear it for sure!!
