Not my usual day-out uniform, but it's good to switch things way up once in a while to keep things just a little bit more interesting!
Layering the crop-tank part of this two-piece dress (it's a spaghetti-strap dress underneath the tank top, hence, "two-piece") on top of a white shirt because none of my other tops seemed to match these pinstripe pants. None.
You guys know what this means, right? It means I need more tops in my closet. (#affordorableneverstops #neverstopsshoppingthatis)
I think the last time I wore pinstripe pants was when I had a day job, five freakin' years ago. Time really flies, guys.
The thing is, though, I feel like straight-cut pinstripe pants always give out office vibes (I mean, righttt?) so I had to vibe it in a different way; pairing them with sneakers - always rescuing outfits, them sneaks - and a kitschy box clutch, and I was done!
Wearing: Ciaopanic tank top | Sly oversized white shirt | Pinstripe pants from Berjaya Times Square | Kate Spade MRANDMRS box clutch | Adidas Stan Smith sneakers
OOOOoooo...I really like this look!! :oD
ReplyDeleteEverything from the layered shirt to those amazing trousers to that funky clutch.
I would quite happily wear the whole lot tomorrow.
Your scarf works (surprisingly) well, somehow enriching the colour of the trousers and bringing depth to the look. You are a clever cookie.
And...what can I say about these photos....brilliant!
The light, the colours, the textures.
Great job.

You're so sweet, Samantha, thank you so much! I can imagine you wearing this but looking a whole lot cooler, to be honest, haha! And also I'm glad you said the photos look good, because they were taken in low light and were really hard to edit. Your comment makes me feel extremely pleased =D
