My head is throbbing from the headache I'm currently having, but I feel like I haven't checked in with you guys for a little too long!
1) It's the 22nd day of Ramadhan already, I mean, just, wow - time flies, guys.
Eid, which is on the first day of the month of Syawal in the Islamic calendar, is a huuuge celebration here in Malaysia. The hugest, as a matter fact. One of the biggest part of Eid is the outfit we wear - not even kidding. It's not just me, I promise; it really plays a big part in everyone's Eid. We usually go for a more traditional garb - or modern versions of traditional garbs, more precisely. I wore this super simple top and songket sarong last year on Eid, but I much preferred the pink and green caftan I had on in 2014 - plus that MRANDMRS clutch is one of my favourites, evahhh.
Most people buy fabrics and have their outfits made for Eid but ever since I got married to Shah, we've made ready-made-Eid-outfit-hunting a sport, which we will have to do sometime this week!
I'm also thinking of getting henna done because I am Uhb-Sessed with henna designs (love the one in the photo, which I got done before Ramadhan), but we'll see if I can make it happen.

2) Getting sick is one of the uncool things that can happen in the month of Ramadhan, and unfortunately, I'm a little under the weather at the moment - it's also why I've not been spending time on my laptop and on Affordorable. Fortunately, though, I'm currently not fasting because of that time of the month. If there's a time to be sick in the fasting month - for the ladies, anyway - it's when we're having our period!
I enjoy fasting, and I love the month of Ramadhan, so I'm looking forward to continuing my fasting soon, and with ease as well.
3) I got myself two magazines, and seriously guys, it is the biggest deal ever. Not even kidding, I can't remember the last time I bought a magazine. Maybe when I was 15...? I never really needed one after the Internet blew up, but when I found out Nicole Warne was gracing the cover of the June edition of Harper's Bazaar Malaysia, I just had to get one; I've been a huge fan of Nicole ever since I started blogging about my personal style.
Coincidentally, the UK's Glamour did a "social issue" featuring some of the most famous digital influencers, so I thought "Well I might as well!".
Only I then subsequently brooded over the fact that magazines are so expensive nowadays, and started reminiscing about how magazines were super affordable back when I was in my early teens, which enabled my friends and I to collect all our fave heartthrobs' posters.
To my Muslim friends, how is your Ramadhan going so far (and have you gotten your Eid outfit yet please do share, and what kuihs and cakes are you guys making for Eid)? The final ten days now, so let's make sure we all make them count!
I hope all of you have a fantastic week! See you when I get better (it's just cold and sore throat, nothing to worry about!), love you guys, always XO

Oh, I hope you are getting better quick. It must be very hard to be sick during Ramadhan. Wish you all the best!

Thank you, Nancy! I am getting much, much better already. Those drowsy anti-histamines and lozenges are working well, which I'm grateful for!
