You know what, now that I'm really thinking about it, I'm not sure what to call this buttoned-down top. It's neither a varsity jacket nor a cardigan. But, I don't know, it's like a cardigan that's made to look like a varsity jacket, which sounds super odd, but it is what it is.
I wore this jacket (cardi?) here in Tokyo last autumn as outerwear but it really isn't all that thick. It may appear that way though. I was heading out in this head-to-ankle navy look and Shah and my sister were like, "Aren't you hot in that thing?" Now, if you were someone living in Malaysia or have lived here, that question is a totally valid question. But, really, as someone who can't stand the cold nor the heat (AND has a hijab on), I didn't experience any major discomfort layering the jacket on top of my t-shirt, thankfully.
It's been very hot lately though, so I won't dream about wearing this jacket if I weren't heading to an air-conditioned place!
