Some beauty experts say to use an actual contour instead of bronzer to contour your cheekbones. Heck, the verb here is "contour", so using a contour (the noun) to contour would make more sense, wouldn't it? I get that, but there's something about using bronzer to add definition to the face that appeals to me. It's not about trying to mimic that natural greyish shadow under the cheekbones, but just adding a different type of definition to the face structure altogether.
I'm not the only one doing it either; other beauty experts than the "some beauty experts" I mentioned earlier even do it themselves. Where else do you think I learned to apply bronzer to my cheeks?
I'm usually more of a just-blush kind of girl but it's a good idea to keep have a spare of everything! Here are my favourite affordable contour and bronzers that are currently residing in my makeup bag:
Sleek MakeupUP Face Contour Kit in Medium
My go-to colour when I want to contour the hollow of my cheekbones to give the illusion of a slimmer face. I'm usually very stingy with this though; put too much and your cheeks could end up looking a tad muddy.

The Balm Bahama Mama
This is my favourite bronzer! The colour looks cooler in the pan but it goes warm when applied on under my cheekbones, but I still like to contour using this anyway. I use this a lot in the crease of my eye as well for extra definition.
Available at local Malaysia Sasa stores
Bourjois Bronzing Powder in 52 (the chocolate one)
Definitely not the most ideal product to contour with as it is a little too warm and golden. I love using this as a blush, though, but my skin tone is deep enough to pull it off.
Not available locally in Malaysia
What are your favourite contour and bronzer products? Do you contour with bronzers, too?
