After a slew of dresses throughout the Raya month, it felt good to finally be back in my usual messy-casual outfit.
It was also my shopping weekend (with Raya money, of course) so I came to the mall prepared; I was in my comfy clothes with my telekung in my watermelon canvas bag. No contact lens and not one stitch of makeup.
For some pizzazz, I added my 'S <3 L' bracelet.
OK, so, velcro straps might make you think of your primary school shoes but I just adore these black flats with old-school velcro straps—they are so comfortable! I got them for 10 euros in a random Asian shop near Les Halles in Paris.

Nowadays when I plan a day of shopping, I try to make it a point to wear clothes with a relaxed fit that is easy to slip out and in from to shorten my time in the fitting room. It might be common sense for some people but I started practising it only this year. Being in my late 20's, I have finally come to the realisation that skinny jeans are the worst thing to have on while out shopping.
How about you guys? Is wearing comfy clothes while shopping a long-time regular practice, or are you one of those people dressed to the nines on your trips to the mall?
