Putrajaya Floria 2014

It's also known as Putrajaya Flower & Garden Festival but I think it won't be too much of an exaggeration to say that the real highlight of the event was probably the umbrellas hanging at the entrance.

Seriously, isn't that just the sweetest thing? Anywhere underneath this umbrella installation makes the perfect spot for photo-taking (especially for instagramming and tweeting, of course).

I have to admit, I went to Floria with an idea of how the event would be like, but, alas, my expectation was too high. I did enjoy oohing and aahing over some of the beautiful, exotic orchids but the most fun I had was in the shaded shopping area (typical) where I had too much fun window-shopping to take any good photo.

My camera did manage to capture some photos outside, though, so, here we go!

Floria photo frame! And yes, my Mak and Rina got photobombed by a really cheerful boy
They had chillies too, you know
Look, I guess I did manage to take one photo inside the tent most ladies headed to!

One final photo of the hanging umbrellas, and that's them.

Did any of you get the chance to visit Floria in Putrajaya? If you went and enjoyed the event, comment below and do let me know!
